From Concept to Delivery

A vertically integrated manufacturing process that gives you complete control over quality, cost, and lead time at every stage of production.

Complete In-House Manufacturing

At Yogi Extrusions, every step of the aluminum extrusion process is performed under one roof. From alloy formulation and billet casting to die design, extrusion, finishing, fabrication, and quality inspection, our vertically integrated approach eliminates costly outsourcing delays and ensures consistent quality throughout.

This comprehensive capability means faster turnaround, tighter tolerances, and a single point of accountability for your project. Explore each stage of our process below.

01

Billet Casting & Alloy Development

We begin with premium-grade aluminum alloy billets, cast in-house to exact chemistry specifications. Our metallurgists develop custom alloy formulations optimized for your application's strength, formability, and surface quality requirements.

In-house casting gives us full control over material properties and traceability, ensuring every billet meets the precise standards your project demands. We maintain alloy stocks across the full 6xxx series and select 2xxx and 7xxx alloys.

Die Design & Engineering

Our in-house die shop designs and manufactures precision extrusion dies using 3D CAD modeling and metal flow simulation. We optimize die geometry for uniform material flow, tight tolerances, and maximum die life.

Each die is engineered specifically for your profile, taking into account alloy behavior, wall thickness ratios, and surface finish requirements. Our die correction turnaround is measured in hours, not days, keeping your project on schedule.

03

Extrusion

Heated billets are pressed through precision dies at controlled temperatures and speeds. Our 10+ extrusion lines range from 1,100 to 2,800 metric tons, capable of producing profiles up to 400mm wide with wall thicknesses as thin as 0.8mm.

Advanced process controls monitor temperature, pressure, and speed in real time to deliver consistent dimensional accuracy and surface quality across every meter of extruded profile.

04

Heat Treatment & Aging

Post-extrusion heat treatment achieves the specified temper and mechanical properties. Our aging ovens ensure consistent hardness, tensile strength, and dimensional stability across every production run.

We offer the full range of tempers including T4, T5, T6, and T66, each precisely controlled through monitored heating and cooling cycles to meet your exact strength and ductility specifications.

05

Surface Finishing

Choose from anodizing (clear, bronze, black), powder coating (RAL colors), wood grain transfer, electrophoresis, or mechanical finishing (brushing, polishing). All finishing is performed in-house for total quality control and faster delivery.

Our finishing lines accommodate profiles up to 7 meters in length, and our color matching capabilities ensure consistency across large production runs and repeat orders.

06

Fabrication & Assembly

CNC machining (3-axis and 5-axis), punching, drilling, bending, welding (MIG, TIG, FSW), and assembly. We deliver ready-to-install components, not just raw profiles.

Our fabrication department works from your CAD files to transform extruded profiles into finished parts and sub-assemblies, reducing your supply chain complexity and speeding up your time to market.

07

Quality Inspection & Shipping

Every batch undergoes dimensional inspection, mechanical testing, surface quality checks, and documentation. Secure packaging and efficient logistics ensure safe delivery worldwide.

Our quality lab is equipped with coordinate measuring machines (CMM), tensile testers, hardness testers, and spectrometers. Full material test reports and certificates of conformance accompany every shipment.
